Genesys Launches CX's Genesys Cloud Satellite In Jakarta, Hong Kong, And Paris
JAKARTA - Genesys, global cloud leader in experience orchestration, is expanding the global reach of Genesys Cloud CX by adding three new satellite areas in Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Paris.
The launch of satellites in Indonesia is claimed to be able to help various businesses, especially in the insurance, banking and government industries, to improve service quality by maintaining real-time flow of data transfers and meeting regional recording storage standards.
Based on data from IDC, the Asia Pacific region has nearly 11 percent of world revenue for contact center applications of US$1.2 billion by 2021. It is estimated that it will increase by 12.5 percent by 2026.
Thus, the latest region of the Genesys satellite is expected to open up opportunities for rapid expansion with multinational customers already operating or who will enter the regional market.
Generation Cloud CX Global Media Fabric (GMF) provides unlimited cloud-based data storage facilities for global companies that can be used to improve voice communication in real-time.
By leveraging core and satellite cloud in each region, Global Media Fabric allows multinational companies to accelerate data delivery and ensure more quality customer interactions.
Local domicile data requirements make the process of gaining cloud contact center access more difficult for multinational companies, which could actually make it easier for them to take advantage of faster and more flexible innovations with wider coverage, said Olivier Jouve, Genesys' Chief Product Officer in a written statement received.
With this new regional satellite, Genesys continues to be committed to expanding its reach and making it easier for companies to provide distributed contact centers to provide a secure, reliable, and quality experience for their customers and employees around the world.
In increasing usage flexibility for global companies, Genesys also presents the ability to store new regional call recordings at Genesys Cloud CX, which helps local businesses and companies secure voice calling recordings in accordance with local regulations.
"With the launch of this regional satellite, multinational customers can now take advantage of the reliability and new security features in the region from the Genesys Cloud CX all-in-one platform, so that it can provide high-quality audio and greater control over data storage, especially for voice calling recording storage," said Assaf Tarnopolsky, Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC at Genesys.
In addition to Indonesia, the Regional Genesys Cloud CX satellite is also present in Paris, France and Hong Kong, China's Special Administrative Region.
With the addition of this satellite, the Genesys Cloud CX now has 12 core regions and 4 satellite regions around the world that strengthen Genesys' position as a global cloud liaison.
