JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that Kapuas Regent Ben Brahim S. Bahat and his wife, who are members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ary Egahni, did not only cut payments for civil servants in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. Both are suspected of accepting bribes from other parties."The suspects are also suspected of accepting bribes from several parties related to their positions as state administrators," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, March 28.Even so, Ali has not detailed the amount of bribes received and its designation.He only said Ben and Ary are currently undergoing examination at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, Tuesday, March 28."(Both, ed) are still undergoing examination as suspects by the KPK investigating team," he said.All information will be conveyed to the public later.
