Not Released Yet, DB11 Successor Caught On Camera During Trial
JAKARTA - From the rumors that have been circulating for a long time, Aston Martin is reportedly preparing for the launch of his latest car which is being plotted for the successor to DB11.
Previously this car was caught on camera during a trial in Sweden. Recently, the car, which will be named DB12, was seen paving on the legendary circuit, Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Aston Martin DB12 looks very similar to DB11 quoted from Carow, Jum'at, March 24. However, this is probably just a hoax from a camouflage sticker embedded in DB12 during a trial.
Different from DB11, in the engine hood, DB12 has a closing line at the top. Although, the headlights embedded are very similar to DB11 and the typical Aston Martin grille is maintained.
Moving to the back, the bumper is made exactly the same as DB11, but there is a possibility that the bumper will be changed for the production version. DB12 is also pinned with a sleek C-shaped backlight that adds to the thick impression of Aston Martin.
Although starting in 2024 Aston Martin will carry a hybrid car, it is possible that DB11's V12 5.2 liter twin-turbocharged engine will be maintained in DB12. Moreover, they will continue to use the 12-cylinder machine until 2026.
The engine can generate 608 dk of power, which is likely to increase its power in DB12 when combined with hybrid technology.
Although it has not been confirmed, the successor to DB11 will be sold by the end of this year.
