JAKARTA - The police will escort the bodies of six special FPI laskar who were shot dead by the police to the places desired by their respective families. The body is still at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

"We will escort everything to the destination expected by the family," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, December 8.

The plan is for the six bodies of special laskar to be returned to the family this afternoon. This is because the team of doctors has completed the autopsy process.

"Hopefully after sunset, the six of them will be taken after an autopsy was carried out by the medical team at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital," said Yusri.

Previously, Karo Penmas, the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said that if the National Police had no intention of obstructing the family party. The bodies of the special laskar have not been returned to the family because the medical team is still conducting forensic examinations.

"When the forensic medical examination has been completed, investigators will also hand it over to the family," he said.

Meanwhile, the Secretary for Legal Aid for the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Aziz Yanuar, said that if the 6 bodies of laskar had been handed over to the family, they would immediately be buried.

"As soon as possible we will take it to Petamburan, then will be buried in Megamendung," he said.
