Maros Pilkada Survey: Electability Of Harmil-Ilham Following Chaidir-Suhartina, Has The Strongest Strong Voters

MAROS - The results of the Public Vote survey in the Pilkada of Maros Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) showed a tight competition between HA Syafril Chaidir Syam-Hj. Suhartina Bohari with candidate pair number 3 H. A Harmil Mattotorang-HA Ilham Nadjamuddin.

The Public Vote Survey was held from 1 to 4 December using the stratified multistage random sampling method.

The number of samples in the survey of 440 respondents spread proportionally in 14 sub-districts and 103 villages / families in Maros Regency with a margin of error of approximately 4.8 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

Respondents were asked who were your preferred candidates for district head and vice regent?

Here are the results:

1. HA Tajerimin Nur-H Havid S. Fasha 17.6 percent

2. HA Syafril Chaidir Syam-Hj. Suhartina Bohari 39.9 percent

3. H. A Harmil Mattotorang-HA Ilham Nadjamuddin 36.6 percent

The Public Vote also presented important findings from the Maros Pilkada survey, namely that the majority of voters as much as 52.2 percent were satisfied with the performance of the regents and deputy regents Hatta Rahman and Harmil Mattotorang. As for those who were recorded were not satisfied 31.7 percent and 16.1 percent felt normal.

In addition, a week before the voting there were still 4.3 percent of voters who had not made their choice.

The survey results also record strong voter maps, namely voters who will not change their choices and swing voters who may change their choices. As a result, candidate pair number 3 is the candidate pair with the highest strong voter percentage at 88.3 percent, followed by candidate pair number 2 with 74.3 percent and candidate pair number 2 with 70.8 percent.

"The conclusion of the survey, the fight narrowed to two candidate pairs, namely candidate pair number 2 and candidate pair number 3. The difference in electability is only 3.3 percent," said the latest survey results in the Pilkada Maros.
