COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise In Bandung
BANDUNG - The number of confirmed cases of active COVID-19 in Bandung has continued to increase since last week. This data was recorded by the Bandung City COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force.
Last week, Monday, November 23, the number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 389 people. However, now that number has jumped dramatically to as many as 662 people.
"Pak Sekda conveyed to me the latest conditions (cases continue to rise)," said Bandung Mayor Oded M Danial in Bandung, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 30.
Every day, since last week, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 has continued to increase, ranging from 40 to 146 cases. During this week, the most cases have been added since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in Bandung.
Meanwhile, the number of cures since Monday, November 23, increased by 239 people. Previously the number of cures was 2,440 people, but now there are 2,679 people who have been declared cured.
During this week, two people were declared dead with a confirmed condition of active COVID-19. The total number of people who died was 113 in Bandung.
The highest number of active COVID-19 cases is in Kiaracondong District. In that region, there are 43 people who are still confirmed as active COVID-19.
While the lowest is in Sumur Bandung District. Even though it is located in the middle of the city, in that region only 4 people have been confirmed as active COVID-19.
