Taking Advantage Of The Huge Potential Of The Kalimantan Market, Mitra10 Is Now Available In Balikpapan
JAKARTA - The Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) has designated the province of East Kalimantan as a candidate for the new capital city of Indonesia. The selection of the province has certainly taken into account various strategic aspects including economic potential.
The city of Balikpapan is known as a business center in Kalimantan with a high growth rate, where according to the East Kalimantan BPS report in 2019 the growth rate of Balikpapan City was recorded to have grown 4.78 percent. The potential of East Kalimantan and the growth trend is considered to continue to grow so that the management of PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP) has decided to expand Mitra10 to Bumi Etam, East Kalimantan.
CSAP is a distribution company for building materials, chemicals and Consumer Goods / FMCG, as well as the owner of the modern retail outlet chain Mitra10 & modern furniture retail Atria. CSAP Corporate Secretary, Idrus H. Widjajakusuma said, this expansion is the first time on the island of Kalimantan and at the same time strengthening Mitra10's market share in eastern Indonesia after opening Mitra10 outlets in Makassar last year.
"The Balikpapan outlet is targeted to make a positive contribution in 2021, considering that it was only inaugurated in the last half of the fourth quarter of 2020," said Idrus in a statement received, Thursday, November 12.
The outlet which was inaugurated today is the 37th superstore or the third outlet to open throughout 2020, following the cities of Lombok and Bekasi. Thus CSAP has opened 3 out of the total planned 4 opening of new Mitra10 stores throughout 2020.
"Malang City will be the target of Mitra10 opening in December 2020," added Idrus.
