Married Couple In Solok Found Dead Covered In Blood
JAKARTA - A husband and wife were found dead covered in blood in a house in the Nagari Saok Laweh area, Kubung District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra.
Kasat Reskrim Solok Police AKP Deny Akhmad Hamdani said the husband and wife were a husband named Yusrial (47) and a wife named Suriantina (40).
"It is suspected that the trigger for the murders and suicides stemmed from a dispute over child issues," said Deny.
In addition, he stated that the commotion that occurred on Sunday, November 1 afternoon was triggered because Suriantina did not want to take care of Yusrial's child because he was not his wife's biological child. This makes Yusrial dark his eyes and commits murder.
Temporary information, Yusrial stabbed his wife with a sharp weapon to death in the bathroom, in his rented house. But after that, Yusrizal also took his own life with the sharp weapon he had used to kill his sir's wife.
"The husband committed suicide with a knife that had been used to injure his wife by slitting his own throat and died in the same location in the bathroom," said AKP Deny as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 2.
The information that had shocked the Saok Laweh community was only known around 16.30 WIB, Sunday, November 1.
Residents also came to witness the incident at the crime scene (TKP). Then, after carrying out the TKP and installing a police line, the bodies of the husband and wife were taken to Muhammad Natsir Hospital in Solok City for a post mortem.
"Until now, the Kubung Police and the Solok Police are still asking for the testimony of several witnesses. The crime scene (TKP) has been installed in police lines and further investigations are being carried out," he said.
According to information obtained by the husband and wife, the couple lived in a rented house in the Nagari Saok Laweh area, Kubung District, Solok Regency, since 2017.
