Continue The Positive Trend, U-19 National Team Gebuk Hajduk Split 4-0
JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-19 national team managed to beat the famous youth team from Croatia, Hajduk Split with a score of 4-0 in a trial match in Croatia, Tuesday, October 20 while continuing the positive trend without defeat in the last five matches.
Reporting from Antara, the four Indonesian goals in the match which took place at the Sloga Mravince Stadium, Split, were made by Amiruddin Bagas, Pratama Arhan (penalty), Beckham Putra (penalty) and Jack Brown.
The victory made coach Shin Tae-yong's children unbeaten in five trial matches since September 28, 2020.
During that time, Indonesia won four wins (from Dinamo Zagreb, NK Dugopolje, North Macedonia, Hajduk Split) and one draw (with North Macedonia) with an impressive record of scoring 12 goals and conceding only one goal.
In the match against Hajduk Split, which is currently in charge of the Croatian U-19 League, coach Shin Tae-yong fielded a new player in the first eleven lineup, namely Kelana Mahesa, who dueted Beckham Putra as a central midfielder.
Apart from that, with a 4-4-2 formation, Shin still fielded his flagship players, namely Muhammad Adi Satryo, Pratama Arhan, Elkan Baggott, Amiruddin Bagas, Witan Sulaeman, Mochammad Supriadi, Irfan Jauhari and Saddam Gaffar.
With such a composition, Indonesia, which has often made Hajduk Split difficult since the start of the match, managed to open up the advantage through Amiruddin Bagas' strike in the 19th minute that took advantage of Witan Sulaeman's through ball.
Pressure after pressure was put on by Indonesia afterwards, but the score 1-0 lasted until the break.
In the second half, the U-19 national team's game got better which resulted in goal after goal.
In the 48th minute, Pratama Arhan made it 2-0 after successfully executing a penalty kick. The referee awarded a penalty because goalkeeper Hajduk Split Karlo Covic violated Saddam Gaffar.
Four minutes later, Indonesia is again scoring from a penalty but this time through Beckham Putra.
The right 12 kick is awarded after defender Hajduk Domagoj Goreta holds the ball going into the net with his hand. Goreta also received an immediate red card.
The 3-0 score has not made Indonesia satisfied. Superior in number of players, the U-19 national team scored the fourth goal from Jack Brown, who entered in the second half, after receiving a pass from Khairul Imam Zakiri.
Hajduk Split couldn't score a single goal against Indonesia. Instead, they had to play with nine people after Petar Vuko received a second yellow card at the end of the match.
The match was completed with a score of 4-0 for the victory of the Indonesian U-19 national team.
