Security Check, TNI Commander-Chief Of Police Ensures 2019 Christmas Runs Safely
JAKARTA - Indonesian National Police Chief (Kapolri) General Idham Azis, together with TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, observed the Christmas Eve Mass celebrations in Jakarta. The two of them made sure that the Christmas Eve celebration went safely.
The first review was conducted at the HKBP Slipi Church, followed by the second church at GPIB Shalom, Kemanggisan, and the last at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Prosperity, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Peace on earth, in the heart," said Hadi in his speech, at Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 24.
Then, Hadi also did not forget to say a Merry Christmas to the congregation who attended the church. After Hadi congratulated him for Christmas. One of the priests asked Idham to also give a short speech.
"On behalf of individuals and all police agencies, we are here with the TNI Commander to greet all of you who are currently celebrating Christmas. Merry Christmas, hopefully peace in your heart and heaven will surround you, ladies and gentlemen, thank you, best wishes. , "said Idham.
Idham said the TNI and Polri would continue to maintain security for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. He asked all parties to create a conducive situation.
Both of them also advised the security forces on guard at the Christmas and New Year posts to maintain security and serve the community. Idham emphasized that the officials should work in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
"We also ask all officers who have been assigned to joint posts to maintain security and serve the community humanely," he said.
On the same occasion, Idham added that the security would continue until January 2, 2020. He and the TNI will also visit a number of other areas outside Jakarta during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
