[PHOTO] Christmas Eve Mass Service At Jakarta Cathedral Church

JAKARTA - The Christmas Eve Mass service at the Cathedral Church, Jakarta, took place solemnly. The Mass procession was led by Father Albertus Hani Rudi Hartoko SJ, Father Joannes Maryana SJ, and Father Yusuf Edi Mulyono SJ.

The congregation seems to fill the inner and outer areas of the Church. In the courtyard, the congregation is seen sitting neatly in the chairs that have been provided. A solemn atmosphere was felt during the Christmas Mass.

For the Christmas theme this year, Public Relations of the Cathedral and Archdiocese Susyana Suwadie said they took a Christmas message from KWI-PGI, namely Live as Friends for Everyone.

On the outside of the Cathedral Church, dozens of security personnel were seen on guard. Not only police officers, Muslim community organizations also participated in guarding the Christmas celebration at the Cathedral Church.
