The Staff Of The Minister Of SOEs Ensures That Rosan's Resignation Will Not Disturb The Ministry's Performance

JAKARTA - The staff of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga emphasized that the performance of the Ministry of SOEs would not be disturbed by Rosan Roeslani's resignation from his position as Deputy Minister of SOEs. In fact, he has only served for three months.

For your information, Rosan resigned from his position because he was appointed as the Chair of the Winning Team for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) which carries the future presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and the prospective vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Look, at the Ministry of SOEs, it's been 4 years, the structure has been arranged. So until today, hopefully with Mr. Rosan resigning it won't be very disturbing," he said when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Thursday, October 26.

Arya said, the replacement for Rosan in the position of Deputy Minister is still waiting for the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Even so, Arya said that his replacement would not be difficult to implement. Given, the structure is already organized.

"That's all the authority in Pak Jokowi. But we are SOEs that are stable, the transformation has been going on for four years. Later, the new Deputy Minister will also be able to enter," he said.

While waiting for a replacement for Rosan, said Arya, the vacancy position will be filled by Erick Thohir. So, he said, people don't need to worry.

"(The one who handled the task) was the Minister (Erick Thohir). The Minister is calm," he said.

For your information, not only resigned from his position as Deputy Minister of the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), Rosan also resigned from his position as commissioner at PT Pertamina (Persero).

Rosan's resignation from his position was confirmed by the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnomo alias Ahok. He said, Rosan had sent a letter of resignation since this morning.

"He (Rosan) has submitted a letter of resignation as Deputy Commissioner of Pertamina, this morning he received his letter," Ahok told VOI, Wednesday, October 25.
