KCIC Adds Fast Train Schedule To 25 Trips Per Day

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has added to the schedule for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train trip from the previous 14 to 25 trips per day starting, Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

For your information, since the beginning of the implementation of the tariff on October 17 has served around 58,000 passengers, with an average of 7,200 passengers per day or occupancy ranging from 90 percent for each trip.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said the decision to add to this travel schedule took into account the high public demand for the train journey

"The public's interest from day to day is getting higher, therefore in order to accommodate the needs and high demand we will add to the flight schedule for thelush high-speed train," Eva said in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 25.

Furthermore, Eva said the number of scheduled 14 quick train trips will increase to 18 to 25 trips per day until October 31, 2023, after which KCIC will re-evaluate for the Train Travel program.

Eva explained that this additional train journey was also accompanied by additional Feeder Train services. Fast Train passengers Who also get free Fast Train Feeder services that stop at Padalarang, Cimahi, and Bandung Stations.
