Coordinating Minister For Maritime Affairs Handled With Maximum, Luhut Praises Erick Thohir's Work

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan revealed that his health condition is progressing. He admitted that he had been undergoing the recovery process in Singapore for seven days.

Luhut said his work at the office was handled optimally during the recovery process. He also praised Erick Thohir for being able to work with deputies at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.

As is known, Luhut experienced extraordinary fatigue after work so he had to be examined by a team of presidential doctors. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also appointed Erick Thohir as Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ad Interim to temporarily replace Luhut's position.

"I am grateful that everything can be handled well by Mr. @erickthohir who was assigned to replace me," said Luhut, quoted from his official Instagram @luhut.pandjaitan, Tuesday, October 17.

Luhut assessed that Erick and the deputies had worked optimally, and the results proved that many programs were being carried out and were successfully implemented.

"All of this can be done because they all remember my message to work in an integrated manner, so that all problems can be resolved properly," he said.

Luhut said that he had carried out several stages of medical treatment as well as possible. He also said this experience was really unpleasant. However, he remains committed to continuing to be enthusiastic even though the recovery process still takes time.

According to Luhut, he has obtained permission from a team of doctors in Singapore to carry out activities even though it is only limited to seeing and hearing reports from several jobs that he has left over the past few weeks.

"It may be that the progress that I have experienced in the recovery process is also caused by an impatient feeling to return to work again. However, I may also get this progress because I see how the entire team works in an integrated manner to handle all the responsibilities that I leave for a moment," he said.

For this reason, Luhut hopes that all parties remain united and united, despite differences of opinion and choice. Luhut also reminded all parties to be grateful because they have a leader who prioritizes unity above all differences such as President Joko Widodo.

"Let's focus on implementing our respective responsibilities, so that the noble ideals of this nation to become a developed country in 2045 can be achieved," he said.

Luhut also admitted that he was very confident that his recovery process could not be separated from the prayers of his family, friends, and the people of Indonesia.

"I am very sure that the good prayers from the whole family, friends, even the Indonesian people have helped me in better conditions than before," he said.

From Singapore, Luhut would like to thank all his friends and the people of Indonesia who always pray for his recovery. He invited them to jointly gather positive energy from all elements of this nation that Bhinneka is to make Indonesia a great country in the future.
