JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is committed to providing Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) entrepreneurs with ease in obtaining environmental approval.

"Previously, SPKLU permits were included in the Medium High risk level, now processing SPKLU permits is included in the Medium Low risk level activities," said the Director of Electricity Engineering and Environment at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, M.P. Dwinugroho, Tuesday, September 26.

Nugroho explained that all information and requirements sent by business actors to the Online Single Submission (OSS) system were sent to the AMDALnet system.

Furthermore, the AMDALnet system automatically edits environmental documents required for SPKLU activities.

The standard UKL-UPL form for SPKLU is also available in this system. Next, this document will be sent to the RBA OSS system to fulfill the basic requirements for issuing a business license.

"So that Environmental Approval and Business Licensing can be issued automatically through the OSS RBA system. All these processes are carried out through a fast information system with a maximum service time SLA of 2 hours," continued Nugroho.

To enable the issuance of environmental approvals and business permits for SPKLU activities, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Ministry of Investment/BKPM have integrated the Amdalnet system into the RBA OSS information system.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources continues to encourage improvements to charging station points or SPKLU. The addition of SPKLU has been increased to support the smoothness and comfort of electric vehicle users.

Nugroho stated that the latest SPKLU realization data registered with the Directorate of Engineering and Environment of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources currently totals 842 units in 488 locations. This data is a combination of SPKLU managed by PT PLN (Persero), private installations in public locations, and public vehicle charging stations.
