Jokowi Calls The 43rd ASEAN Summit To Raup 93 Cooperation Projects Of Up To IDR 583.31 Trillion

JAKARTA - The holding of the 43rd ASEAN Summit was not only held for meetings, but this event also resulted in a commitment to cooperation of US$38.2 billion or Rp583.31 trillion (Rp15,270 per US dollar).

Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengungkap tercatat ada 93 kesepakatan kerja sama sepanjang rangkaian Konferensi Tinggi (KTT) ke-43 ASEAN.

This was revealed by Jokowi during the opening speech of the ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) 2023 at the Mulia Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, September 5.

Furthermore, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta also said that this business agreement is a form of support from ASEAN countries and global partners.

"Your Honor, I appreciate the support and concern of ASEAN countries and ASEAN partners so that they have collected 93 cooperation projects worth 38.2 billion US dollars and 73 potential projects worth 17.8 billion US dollars," he said.

Jokowi said, the contribution collected reflects the commitment of every member of the Southeast Asian region to build the Indo-Pacific in a peaceful, stable and prosperous manner.

"This reflects our commitment the walk the talk builds a peaceful, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific," he said.
