Ministry Of Transportation Forms Team To Investigate ESAF Motorcycle Context Problem Honda Rawan Patah

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directoral General of Land Transportation has decided to form a team to investigate public complaints regarding the framework of the broken Motor Honda Enhanced Smart Architecture Frame (eSAF) and corrosion.

The decision was taken after the Ministry of Transportation held a clarification meeting with PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) at the Head Office of the Ministry of Transportation, Jakarta yesterday.

Director of Road Transportation Facilities of the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Danto Restyawan conveyed that this clarification meeting was aimed at tracing the root of the problem, and asked for an explanation of the broken and viral eSAF framework on social media.

"This meeting is important because we need to trace and ask PT AHM for an explanation. This is done of course in order to ensure the realization of safe motorized vehicles," said Danto in an official statement, Tuesday, August 29.

Various forms of follow-up, said Danto, the government will form a research team that handles the issue of fractures and eSAF frameworks consisting of the Ministry of Transportation, the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC), and PT Astra Honda Motor.

For information, the eSAF framework is the design of the front structure connected by sitting on a motorcyclist.

"In addition, PT Astra Honda Motor will also carry out repairs and maintenance according to the conditions needed through the nearest AHM official workshop to ensure the vehicles used are safe and secure," he said.

In addition, Honda consumers can also visit the nearest official Honda (AHASS) workshop to carry out maintenance and repairs according to the condition of the motorcycle unit.

"The Directorate General of Land Transportation will continue to oversee and oversee this issue in accordance with the main tasks and functions that are appropriate to realize safety in motorized vehicles," he concluded.
