Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested a suspected terrorist with the initials DE in the Harapan Jaya area, Bekasi, this afternoon. DE, who is an employee of the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), is known to be an employee of PT KAI.

In this regard, KAI's EVP of Corporate Secretary Raden Agus Dwinanto Budiadji said his party appreciates the ongoing legal process and will support various efforts to eradicate Terrorism practices.

"We are ready to cooperate with the authorities regarding this issue," said KAI EVP of Corporate Secretary Raden Agus Dwinanto Budiadji in a statement received by VOI, Monday, August 14.

Agus said KAI does not tolerate actions that are against the law, especially in cases of terrorism. KAI management will take firm action against its employees if they are proven to be involved in terrorism cases.

KAI and the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) have been cooperating since September 24, 2021, on the Synergy of Prevention of Radical Understanding of Terrorism.

"As a tangible manifestation of the cooperation, KAI and BNPT have carried out dialogue activities for national insight and anti-radicalism in various cities," continued Agus.

Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, added that the suspected DE terrorist had sent a post in the form of a digital poster containing the text of renewal of allegiance in Arabic and Indonesian to the Islamic State leadership, namely Abu Al Husain Al Husain Al Quraysi, via Facebook.

"It is suspected that it has a homemade firearm in its Facebook Account post in the form of a test post for a gun homemade weapon on a plantation," said Ramadhan.
