PT PLN (Persero) has completed the construction of a High Voltage Substation and Air Line (SUTT) in North Sulawesi which has a realization of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 80 percent.
General Manager of PLN Sulawesi Main Development Unit (UIP), Defiar Anis explained, the energy process was successfully carried out on Monday 17 July for Circuit 1 and on Monday 24 July for Circuit 2 (SUTT) 150 kV PLTU SULUT-1 Incomer.
In addition, the PLTU SULUT-1 Main Substation (GI) is also further strengthened to be able to receive electricity supply from PLTU SULUT-1.
According to him, these two infrastructures will support the strengthening of the electricity system in North Sulawesi and Gorontalo.
"Later on, this transmission network will function for the backfeeding stage or voltage reception to check equipment readiness through system testing before the generator operates," said Anis, Tuesday, August 8.
Anis hopes that with the operation of a 6,285 Kilometer Sirkit (KMS) and GI 150 kV transmission network located between Binjeita 2 and Binjeita Induk Villages, East Bolangitang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, the benefits will soon be felt by the community.
One of the residents of Binjeita Village, Yusak Malope, who was employed as a local worker in the construction of the Main Substation, was happy with the operation of GI because the work carried out so far had finally paid off.
"I feel happy with the operation of the work that I have been working on, seeing that the work that has been done from zero until now has been operating has its own satisfaction," said Yusak.
