Judo Between Students Championships 2023, 386 Athletes Get Protection From BPJamsostek Cilincing

JAKARTA - BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJamsostek) Jakarta Cilincing Branch Office was also present to provide Employment Social Security protection for junior judo athletes who competed in the Martial Arts Student Invitation Championship Judo 2023.

The championship, which was organized by the DKI Jakarta Education Office, starting from elementary, junior high to high school, took place on June 9-11, 2023 at the Kelapa Gading Sports Center, North Jakarta.

Head of the BPJamsostek Jakarta Cilincing Office, Haryani Rotua Melasari said there were 386 participants competing in the 2023 Beladiri Sports Student Invitational Championships. All of these participants received protection from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

"A total of 100 percent of athletes competing have been protected by the Employment Social Security program because they have been registered as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants," Haryani said in a statement, quoted Thursday, June 22.

Ani, Haryani Rotua Melasari's nickname, said the protection provided was in the form of Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Security (JKM).

The main benefits of JKK protection are protection starting from going from house to place of work, while working and getting home.

"The protection from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan applies when athletes leave home to train, during training, and until returning home. Including when competing in the 2023 Martial Arts Student Invitational Championships", said Ani.

According to Ani, with the protection of Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Security (JKm), athletes can focus on preparing themselves with intensive training, thus resulting in optimal achievements.

On that occasion, Ani also expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the Organizing Committee for the 2023 Beladiri Sports Student Invitational Championships, which have cared for protection for judo athletes.
