OIKN Head: IKN Logo Will Be Announced By President Jokowi Soon

JAKARTA - Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono said that Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will soon announce the logo that has been chosen by the public for IKN.

"We have closed the logo selection before a few days will be announced by the president. The logo has been chosen with the most votes," said Bambang at the Government Regulation Socialization event Number 12 of 2023 in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 23.

Bambang said the logo had gone through voting by hundreds of thousands of people.

"The logo has been chosen with the most votes. Thank God, more than 500,000 Indonesians participated in the vote," he said.

According to him, IKN belongs to all Indonesian people, so it is necessary to be involved in the selection of our new mother logo.

"We put it, then chosen it together, because our principle is that Nusantara is us, we are the archipelago, the archipelago belongs together, thus involving all people to participate in one trip that is believed to be historical, namely choosing a logo," he said.

Bambang added that the selection of the logo will continue until the next day and become a matter of pride in the future.

"I think this is proof that more than 500,000 people have participated in one separate pride for all of us, so that in the future Nusantara will become the capital city that we are both proud of," he concluded.
