Supporting The Implementation Of The ASEAN Summit, Pelindo Alerts The Jayanegara Tunda Ship 306

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) is ready to support the implementation of the ASEAN Summit (KTT) by placing the Jayanegara 306 tugboat at Labuhan Bajo Port.

As is known, the ASEAN Summit will be held in Labuan Bajo City, East Nusa Tenggara on May 8 to 11, 2023.

Pelindo Regional Head 3, Ardhy Wahyu Basuki said the Jayanegara 306 tugboat owned by Pelindo has the ability to assist large and small ships maneuvering in the waters of Labuhan Bajo Port.

With 2 engines with a power capacity of 1500 HP each, these tugboats can help ships maneuver safely and quickly.

Ardhy said the presence of 306 Jayanegara tugboats at Labuhan Bajo Port is Pelindo's commitment in providing the best service to customers and supporting the Indonesian government in organizing the ASEAN Summit.

"We hope that the presence of this tugboat can help smooth the operations of ships that will come to Labuhan Bajo Port during the ASEAN Summit," he said in an official statement, Friday, May 5.

Ardhy added that KT Jayanegara had arrived at Labuan Bajo Port since Tuesday, May 2, 2023 and would be on standby until the summit was implemented. Currently, KT Jayanegara has served the KRI dr. Soeharso belonging to the Indonesian Navy who has arrived in Labuan Bajo.

"Currently KT Jayanegara is in Labuan Bajo and has carried out its first task in serving KRI dr. Soeharso's clothing. In addition, the ship will also help smooth the sandar process of KM Sinabung in the near future," concluded Ardhy.

In addition to providing KT Jayanegara 306, in an effort to make the ASEAN 2023 Summit a success, Pelindo Labuan Bajo Branch will also serve KM Sinabung's homecoming which will be used as a hotel for the ASEAN Summit.

Not only that, Pelindo has also prepared infrastructure such as buildup fields and other supporting facilities to ensure the success of this event.
