Dear Lebaran Homecomers, Rest In Rest Areas Can't Be More Than 30 Minutes

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. (JSMR) will apply special rules in the toll road rest area during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming season.

Homecomers are not allowed to stop at rest areas for more than 30 minutes.

Jasa Marga President Director, Subakti Syukur, said that the regulation was carried out to prevent congestion in the toll road rest area during this year's homecoming momentum.

"Like not taking long in the rest area, a maximum of 30 minutes," said Subakti at the BUMN Ngopi event at Synergy Lounge, Thursday, April 6.

Subakti appealed to travelers to apply health protocols while in the rest area. One of them is in buying food.

"Then travelers are advised to take away food," he said.

Subakti said, if the rest area inside the toll road is full, travelers can use the rest area provided by the government or those closest to the toll exit access before returning to continue their journey.

In addition, travelers are also asked to prepare supplies during the trip, ensure fuel adequacy, check toll rates and adequate electronic money balances.

Previously, the Director of Building Management and Facilities of PT JMRB Tita Paulina Purbasari said that he had prepared a number of traffic engineering schemes in the rest area, as well as maximized vehicle parking capacity in line with the increase in traffic flow on toll roads during the Lebaran homecoming and homecoming period.

In maximizing services, said Tita, her party has alerted a task force (Satgas) in the Travoy rest area or in rest areas on the Jasa Marga Group segment managed by PT JMRB partners.

PT JMRB is known to have coordinated with a number of stakeholders to establish service and health posts in the rest area.

The service posts from the police in the rest area on the Jasa Marga Group toll road are 36 posts.

Meanwhile, there are 22 health posts. Later, these posts will help visitors who need information and check their health during the trip.

"Rest areas also prepare other facilities that visitors can take advantage of, such as emergency workshops, electronic money filling outlets, to health services in several rest areas located on the Jasa Marga Group section," he said.
