Becakayu Toll Road Ready To Fully Operate Starting Saturday 1 April 2023

PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) through its subsidiary, PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga (KKDM) will fully operate the Bekasi Cawang Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) toll road starting Saturday 1 April.

"The existence of the Becakayu Toll Road can be an alternative to avoid congestion on arterial roads in the East Jakarta and Bekasi areas, road users can shorten their travel time by up to 30 minutes," said KKDM President Director Aris Mujiono in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 30 March.

Aris added that the Becakayu Toll Road can also unravel the density of traffic with access to connections from the direction of Tanjung Priok to Bekasi and vice versa.

KKDM has conducted operational trials without adjusting the tariff on the Jakasampurna Marga Jaya section since March 24, 2023.

Thus, the 16.78 km Becakayu Toll Road officially operates fully

During full operation, the Becakayu Toll Road will officially impose a new tariff with an open system with four tariff zoning, namely Zone 1 of the Wiyoto - Wiyono - Jatiwaringin toll road and vice versa IDR 10,500 (Gol. I), IDR 15,500 (Gol. II and III), and IDR 20,500 (Gol. IV and V).

Then Zone 2 of the Wiyoto - Wiyono - Pondok Kelapa toll road and vice versa is IDR 16,000 (Gol. I), IDR 23,500 (Gol. II and III), and IDR 31,500 (Gol. IV and V), Zone 3 of the Wiyoto - Wiyono - Jakasampurna toll road and vice versa IDR 22,500 (Gol. I), IDR 33,500 (Gol. II and III), and IDR 44,500 (Gol. IV and V).

Zone 4 of the Wiyoto - Wiyono - Marga Jaya toll road and vice versa is IDR 28,500 (Gol. I), IDR 43,000 (Gol. II and III), and IDR 57,000 (Gol. IV and V).

The construction of the Becakayu Toll Road began by investors in 1996, but stopped until it resumed a few years later.

In 2014, WTR officially acquired the KKDM and then continued its construction until it started operating in stages starting in 2017.

The full operation of the Becakayu Toll Road in 2023 is one of the proud achievements for WTR.
