Earning IDR 197 Billion Profit, WOM Finance Will Distribute IDR 59 Billion Dividend

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOM Finance) decided to distribute dividends to shareholders amounting to IDR 59.28 billion or 30 percent of the 2022 profit.

WOM Finance President Director Djaja Suryanto in his presentation said, in the 2022 financial year, WOM Finance earned a net profit of IDR 197.6 billion, an increase of 79.54 percent from 2021 which was recorded at IDR 110.06 trillion.

"A total of Rp59 billion or 30 percent of the company's net profit was distributed as cash dividends to 3.4 billion shares," he said at the AGMS in Jakarta, Thursday, March 30.

Thus, each share gets a dividend of IDR 17 per share.

Meanwhile, continued Djaja, the remaining Rp135 billion of net profit will be recorded as retained earnings.

The shareholders who are entitled to receive dividends are shareholders whose names are recorded on April 12, 2023.

Meanwhile, the dividend distribution provisions will be paid on May 3, 2023 by paying a cash dividend of around IDR 17 per share.

Djaja said funds of around Rp. 2.5 billion from net profit were used for general reserve funds.

"A total of IDR 2.5 billion from the company's net profit to be used as general reserve funds to meet the provisions in Article 70 paragraph (1) of the UUPT and Article 21 of the Company's Article 21 of the Company's Articles of Association," concluded Djaja.
