Matahari Department Store Will Distribute Dividends Of IDR 525 Per Share

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) approved a final dividend of IDR 525 per share for the 2022 financial year. The final dividend will be paid on April 27, 2023.

Thus, shareholders registered on April 11, 2023 (recording date) will be entitled to receive dividend payments. This is in accordance with the management policy for dividend payments of a minimum of 50 percent.

Vice President Director and CEO of Matahari Terry O'Connor said the Company's directors would like to give appreciation for the hard work and full commitment of all employees. In addition, appreciation for the guidance of the Board of Commissioners and its supporting committees who have helped achieve the target with the main aim of increasing customer satisfaction, shareholders and other stakeholders.

"We also want to thank the shareholders for their support and trust in the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is committed to maximizing value for shareholders in the future," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, March 28.

The AGMS approved the resignation of Miranti Hadisusilo as the Independent Director of the Company. Also, it approved Rachel Stack to become a member of the Board of Directors who while joining as Chief Merchanting Officer in 2020.

"We are confident that Rachel will continue to contribute to the Directors and executive leadership of the Sun. Our diverse background will skilledly navigate the Company through challenges and problems that could slow down the achievement of sustainable growth," he said.

The Company's shareholders also approved a decrease in capital by diverting treasury shares from the repurchase of shares carried out by the Company from 7 June 2022 to 28 March 2023. This resulted in a decrease in capital from 2.36 billion shares to 2.26 billion shares.
